Mdlogix Research Product Deployed at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
Baltimore, MD---mdlogix is announcing that Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine has deployed the mdlogix Clinical Research Management System (CRMS) for integrated clinical studies and trials management. mdlogix is assisting the School of Medicine in electronically deploying its clinical research processes, resulting in automating and integrating these processes in the full research life cycle.
“It is deeply fulfilling to be a partner with the leadership and medical researchers at Johns Hopkins University,” mdlogix CEO Aaditya Goswami said. “It is our intent to continue to meet and surpass client expectations.”
The mdlogix CRMS has breadth and depth in the functionality required across the enterprise research management process. It is a powerful, user-friendly system that researchers of all roles (principal investigators, study coordinators, research nurses, financial managers, data managers, recruiting staff, pharmacy staff, regulatory staff, and other core center staff) will want to use. The CRMS was developed with input from multiple members of clinical research teams at Johns Hopkins. As a result, Johns Hopkins University receives royalties from sales of this product.
“The mdlogix CRMS is designed and implemented for scientific rigor and comprehensiveness,” said Allen Y. Tien, MD, MHS, founder, president, and research director of mdlogix.
Deployment
The mdlogix CRMS can be used for research in any disease or disorder domain. Within Johns Hopkins, it has been adopted throughout the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and with several research teams in the Department of Ophthalmology and Center on Aging. Johns Hopkins is currently deploying the CRMS to other departments with the expectation that it will become the clinical research management system for the entire School of Medicine. This implementation process is being directed by Daniel E. Ford, MD, vice dean for clinical investigation and principal investigator of the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program at Johns Hopkins.
mdlogix’s Dr. Tien said, “Helping to support Johns Hopkins and other institutions in jointly developing best practices for research processes and collaboration is especially important to our company. mdlogix was founded on a mission to accelerate research and the application of knowledge to clinical practice and public health programs. We are dedicated to this objective, which will be empowered by the CTSA program and our work with CTSA recipients.”
